Having reached the decision to exit the EU via last week’s referendum, little prior discussion took place regarding the options available for leaving. Was the general thought that leaving meant a full extraction of the UK from the EU, or did voters feel that keeping limited ties offered a sensible compromise, whilst removing ourselves from some of the more onerous areas of law making and policy?
